Vivienne Sabó Cabaret Premiere Waterproof Eyeliner Pen can help make your eyes an even more prominent feature. The first thing that was surprising was how time consuming it was to initially access the eyeliner. There were two separate stickers that are wrapped around each end of the pen atop the plastic seal that perforated the length of the pen. It was definitely protected and it reflected in how long it took me to remove the stickers and plastic. The gold tube holds 0.04 fluid ounces of bold black color that is dispensed through a felt tip. The pen felt comfortable in my hand and glided across my lid effortlessly. I was able to draw a thin line easily and if I wanted a bolder line, I could draw additionally in order to draw a thicker line to make a more dramatic look. I noticed that there was no smudging or smearing after wearing the eyeliner for hours. I did not have to re-apply the liner as the color remained bold the entire time that I had worn it. It washed off easily with my choice of makeup removing towelette or cotton pad and eye makeup remover. It is Made in China. Overall, I am really happy with how well this eyeliner worked for me and knowing that the price at the time this review was written is very fair given the quality of the eyeliner.

Smooth, precise, and truly waterproof
UPDATE: Wore this eyeliner to Rockville festival at Daytona Beach yesterday – temperatures in the 90s, dust and grit in the air, crowds 60K+, and we used cooling misters, face fans, wet cooling towels, and sunscreen all day, and this eyeliner DID NOT BUDGE. By 2am it still looked as crisp and fresh as when it was applied at 8:30am the day before. This is without a doubt the absolute best eyeliner I have ever used.Original review: This has become my new go-to eyeliner. The felt tip makes it easy to get clean lines, whether I’m doing a simple thin look or something more dramatic. It’s very black, dries in a few seconds, and it really is waterproof with no smudging or smearing. By the end of the day it still looks clean and sharp. I also appreciate that it’s vegan and cruelty-free.

Bold lines and doesn’t flake
One of these days I’ll get better at liquid eyeliner. While it’s still a work in progress, this pen does make it a lot easier and more forgiving than the brush style applicators dipped into a liquid liner. The pen is fully primed and ready to go each time I use it. Te liquid flows easily and evenly from the tip of the pen and the black is extremely pigmented. It sets quickly which helps prevent it from transferring which is a must for me since I have hooded lids. The ink doesn’t bleed into fine lines so you end up with really crisp lines.I can wear this all day without it flaking. My lids do get oily, especially when I sweat and this doesn’t effect the liner at all.

Mixed feelings
While the formula goes on smooth for the most part, there were some obviously lighter areas where it seems that the formula didn’t transfer. The pen isn’t really wet or moist, so I can see it drying out quickly. Once applied, the formula dries quickly and is impossible to fix without the use of makeup wipes/solution. I have oily lids and have yet to find the right balance of application and product, but this eyeliner seems to work with me so far. It’s been 6 hours with no smudging, creasing, or weird movement. I just rubbed a finger over the liner and while it didn’t budge, it did flake a bit. So far, I like this product – but time will tell if it’s worth the purchase.

Nice smooth formula
Smooth formula and is almost like a marker type felt tip. It’s tapered but better for a thicker eyeliner look. Once it dries it doesn’t budge which is great. Just give it a minute to fully dry so you don’t accidentally smear it. It came off easily with an oil based cleanser.

This is a really great basic liquid felt tip eyeliner. It works as good a the one I’ve used for a decade by Madeline. The color is solid jet black. I recommend!
