Perfect hydrating lip protection
I am so glad I purchased this in a 2-pack! Super hydrating, beautiful color that stays on for a long time and the only lip balm with SPF I found so far that doesn’t have a weird taste. It has no taste, no smell, and I am in love with the color. It is a little bit sticky but that is not an issue for me at all. I love this brand very much and have purchased many of their products. I’m glad I gave this item a try as well!

Too Thick for Me
Nice color but I thought the shea butter would make it glide on more smoothly. It is thick and so it’s hard to squeeze out of the small opening in the tube. I was so excited to find a tinted lip balm with SPF that I overlooked a couple of things I do not like — it contains wax, which explains it thickness, and it is colored with synthetic dyes instead of natural fruits and vegetables.

I’m picky about lip products, and the texture of the SOME BY MI V10 Hyal Lip Stain is just perfect to me. It’s like Kissu + Fixing Tint in a squeezable tube. It’s a bit sticky and tacky but I prefer it that way, but once that fades, my lips still have this nice, lingering color; if you don’t like sticky lip products maybe skip this product.I’m a recovering lip balm addict, I’ve used chapstick and similar for 2 decades now, often containing beeswax with menthol, which dries my lips out so much they’re chapped if I don’t keep reapplying. I have other lipsticks and stains, but those are mostly for color, and I still need a balm underneath for a nice base before color.Not until I’ve switched to K-beauty and J-beauty lip products that it actually heals my lips. They typically contain healing ingredients I’d use for facial skincare like panthenol, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, shea butter, etc. that I’m no longer dependent on using a lip balm like I did, I just use it because I enjoy it, not because if I don’t my lips will crack, bleed, or hurt. BUT those products I like usually come in jars which isn’t great if my hands are dirty or tubes with wands and it always look bad if I don’t have a mirror handy.This one by Some By Mi super easy to swipe on, and it gives my lips a natural and healthy flush, which I love since my natural lips is colorless and lifeless without help lolI kinda wish it was SPF 30 instead of 15, but it doesn’t take away from how much I like this product. This is one of the most convenient lip products I’ve tried, this being a 2-pack I can keep one tube in my purse, the other in my car. This is kind of pricey if you compare with just a lip ointment or balm that can be purchased at the local drugstore, but quite fair to cheap compared to some of the other lip products I prefer.- No scents or fragrance- Has beneficial ingredients- Gives you a glossy healthy lip color

The colour pay off is subtle, which I like.Overall, a fabulous twin pack of lip balms, and I would highly recommend them!

I’m currently using a serum from SOME BY MI (which I like), and that’s why I was excited to try out this lip balm, particularly since it offers some basic SPF. It’s nice! It’s gel-like in texture but on the thicker side, which means you’ve got to really squeeze the tube to get it out and it will be sticky once you apply it; this is not my favorite texture of lip balm, but it does mean a little goes a long way and the balm won’t be too glossy when it goes on your lips (something I appreciate in an everyday balm). It feels like it will work well for dry lips and basic maintenance. It tastes like orange and mint.

My lips have been sore and inflamed recently as I’ve been outside in the spring sun and biting winds. I always seem to suffer at this time of year from the effect of the weather. I’ve got pots of balm and lip salves, but nothing really works. I was very interested to try this balm because I love this brand and all the products I’ve tried have been exceptionally good. There are two balms included. There’s so little in each I am going to use them both up quite quickly I think. The tubes are small, easy to pop into a handbag, but they could be much smaller. They’re mostly filled with air and you need to apply some pressure to squeeze the gel out. A minuscule amount is needed to coat the lips. It has a high gloss finish and a lovely berry coloured tint. It feels deeply hydrating and nourishing and I love that it contains UV protection as the lips are the area where I can’t cover with my sun screen. The gel doesn’t feel sticky. It’s pleasant and makes me want to smack my lips together. It holds well too and stays on unless you transfer it onto a cup rim. My lips do feel better too!

The balms comes in boxed plastic tubes, and given the price point, the tubes have a bit of a cheap feel to them if I’m being honest.The balm itself has a lovely pink berry tint to it and gives the lips a lovely glossy look, as well as moisturising them given all the oils it contains. Moreover, the balm offer SPF 15 too.The tubes are pocket-size (7ml) so slip easily into a bag for on-the-go use. Definitely worth a try if you’re after a nourishing balm with a touch of colour!

A slightly plummy shade but still very sheer so natural tint to the lips. The colour is more subtle if you have darker skin/ pigmented lips unless you apply a good amount. I do love the fact these have SPF on so plan to wear them throughout summer. However, they are quite sticky which I’m not the biggest fan of. This is definitely a lipgloss to take around with you and apply throughout the day.
