Why No Bees Wax?
I should have read the description better before purchasing. I assumed that a balm made by Burts Bees would have beeswax as its base. But that’s not the case. It’s a decent light hold balm that smells nice. But it pales in comparison to beeswax balms like Honest Amish.

Best balm, works great for my long curly head hair as well
This is one of the first products I bought for my facial hair, and although I’ve tried other things I keep coming back to this one, and at this point its the only product I really use in my full hair routine. I started using this one in my hair as well, and kept using it while growing out my hair. I go through a lot more of the product now, since both my hair and my beard have become decently long. It is a good smell that isn’t overwhelming, and I love how soft it makes all of my hair. I highly recommend it to anyone with a beard, but also anyone with some curls in their hair.

Best Balm I have Used!
I have a wavy curly Beard. this balm has the right amount of hold for keeping the shape.when rubbing in the hands it melts fully, has noticeable oil, and is very easy to apply.I used to use oil then add balm after. with Burts I no longer use beard oil, just the balm.great price point, large tin, and it works.good hold all day and my beard is softer!

Awesome stuff!
First I’ll start with consistency since that’s the most important aspect of a beard balm in my opinion. This stuff is slightly more waxy than alot of balms (which I think is a good thing) but isn’t as stiff as a wax itself. It melts down nicely and is easy to apply. Next I’ll talk about the smell. It has a very nice scent, I can only describe it as classically masculine, something akin to a barber shop. It’s a pretty good sized tin, and with its consistency you’d only need a finger nails worth at a time making it a good value. I’ve used alot of different products in the past, some good and some bad, but I’m really happy with everything about this balm so far and plan on ordering again in the future.

HIGH amount of cologne in it.
This has a high amount of cologne in it that will cause your beard to stink up a room. I got this for my husbands beard and he only put a tiny bit on his beard and the cologne smelled filled up the room, it was so bad I had to open a window. The company needs to back off on the cologne by at least 1/2 if not more.
