    Great scent
    This was my second purchase from them. I’ve tried a few other brands, and so far I prefer grave before shave over others. I got the pine scent last time, and it was nice but seemed a bit unnatural/processed scent wise. The vanilla cigar blend smells awesome, and the quality is great no matter the scent. It’s super easy to work with and has a nice light hold.

    Grave Before Shave is my Fav(orite)
    There are a surprising number of brands out there when it comes to beard care. Grave Before Shave is my favorite among them.I’ve tried several products, and I’d encourage you to try out more than one as well to find what is right for you, but this is at the top of my personal list. Both their oils and balms are good. I prefer to use the oils after a warm shower, and the balm is more part of my normal morning routine. It helps keep some of the hairs in line that tend to wander off.If you’re looking for a strong hold, then this isn’t for you. For me, it helps tame the hairs some, adds a light shine, softens and conditions my beard, and helps to keep my skin from getting flaky underneath.This is the strongest scent I’ve come across, but it is my favorite. It seems to me to be the longest lasting too. The original scent is great, and I also really liking the Viking Blend. I’ve yet to try the others, but I look forward to it. This Cigar Blend is surprisingly my wife’s favorite too.Just scoop out a bit and rub it between your fingers to melt it down and massage it into your beard, then run a comb through it if you like, and you’re good. It’s enough to last all day, so you don’t need to carry the tin around with you. But it has some awesome artwork on it, so you could.If you use it everyday, you should expect about a month of use from it. Your mileage may vary.

    My new go-to for all beard products! Great balm. Great scent. Applies9/ easily and leaves your beard and skin feeling great!
    I have multiple oils and other products from Grave Before Shave, but this is my first beard balm from them.The cigar blend intrigued me and sounded nice so i gave it a shot. and I AM IMPRESSEDit smells great! its a little strong at first, but i either become used to it, or it becomes more subtle during wear, Im not actually sure.my GF has complimented me on the scent, and it has become a scent i enjoy!Aside from the scent i love the quality of the this product! you can tell that GBS is a responsible company who really cares about putting out a quality product! making me, as a consumer, very grateful!Scraped just a little bit out with my thumb, rub it between my fingers as instructed and apply to my beard. and it applies quite easily. Followed by a comb through and my beard is feeling great and my skin underneath feels nice and hydrated!The tin itself is very good looking, love the artwork, another plus is that i was surprised at the depth of the tin. I was expecting much less, but they give you a liberal amount! always a nice surprise.I am looking forward to trying more balms! This is my new go-to for all beard products.

    Subtle scent with good hold
    Scent is not overpowering and is pleasing. More vanilla than anything. The texture matches that of most beard balms but has begun to be a bit chunky over time.

    Preface: Growing a full beard for the first time and a heard about beard balm. Quick search and I discovered Grave before shave. I orderd the sample pack of oils and they are f’n awesome. But I wanted something to help tame my curly mane. So, i ordered beard balm.Initial impressions: This is a quality product. Easy to use. Smells A-Mazing! Of the beard oils, there is not a scent I dont like. But this Vanilla Cigar must be a new “flavor”. I hoped it smelled like sweet pipe tobacco…and I am not disappointed! If you are unfamiliar with beard balms, they use natural “butters”, bees waxs, and oils to make a product that is a bit firmer than, say, cold chap stick. Not too hard, but when to but some in the palm of your hand, it begins to melt into a fragrant oil-ish substance that you can work into your beard.Final thoughts: Quality product. I’ve orderd Grave before shave products from Amazon & Directly from their site. Fast shipping. The product has badass art. Smells like a bad ass, pipe smoking gentleman. It leaves your beard soft and tame and smelling of vanilla-ish pipe tobacco. Sent last longer than beard oil. Stronger at first and slowly dissipates over time. Beard feels soft and supple all day. Although you can reapply as need or as you want. Is it the best beard balm in the world? I dont know about that. But for the price, its a steal. Buy it now!

    Product works great and smells amazing
    I love this stuff it works great on my beard to keep it looking amazing and the smell is fantastic. It keeps the hair where I want it without being hard or clumpy. It moisturizes the hair well also. I get so many compliments on my beard and people often ask me what product I use!!

    I have had a beard coming on 10 years now, I have used a few beard balms and never found anything I really loved, until now.This stuff is amazing, smells amazing and the scent lasts for ages unlike most balms. It emulsified really smoothly and went on the beard no problem with no lumps. Beard looked great, nice shine and held shape really well.Look forward to trying all the other products available by these guys

    Not a bad product but not the best. The smell is very mild vanilla/bubble gum and absolutely no hint of cigar, tobacco or anything manly! It’s a bit greasy but overall does a good enough job for the price
