I’ve bought Miss Jessie’s Jelly Soft Curls Gel multiple times now, and it’s become a staple in my hair care routine. This gel defines my curls beautifully without making them crunchy or stiff. It gives my hair a soft, natural hold and enhances my curl pattern, leaving my curls bouncy and frizz-free all day. Another hit!
This is my second Miss Jessie’s product (first was Pillow Soft Curls) and I love this one too! So far, I’m pleased with this brand. Works well, defines my curls and easy to use for my wash and go. I like this smell a little less than the Pillow Soft Curls, but it’s still good. I love that these products can be revitalized on hair the next day with a little water. I love the slip when I use my brush to define stubborn curls. I have 2 other products from this brand to try and I’m excited.

Clumps like a dream!
LOVE this gel istg it’s perfect for my hair! My hair is a little bit on the fine side, thick, a mix of 2c to 3a and lower porosity. For me I put it on and it clumps my curls perfectly and feels nice and moisturizing on my hair. I’ve never had any greasiness with it, though my hair overall never gets greasy. It smells lovely and the amount of product in the bottle is great, tho I’ll admit it’s still a little pricy. I will take and brush in the multi-cultural styler with my hair upside down and then I’ll rake some of this gel through though I mostly use it to scrunch. If you have hair like mine, this is an excellent product!

Good product
I have used this before and used it all and reordered. It does keep your hair soft and natural feeling. I like the soft scent. I do wish it had just a little more hold but does a good job controlling frizziness. I like the ingredients also, nothing bad for my hair.

If I could give this product 10 stars I would. I’ve always had wavy/undefined hair. Occasionally a few pieces with actually curl. It was always heavy and weighted down at the top. I bought this on a whim and holy cow. My hair is bouncy, lightweight and CURLY. The definition is unbelievable and when they say soft they mean it. It’s like I have someone else’s hair all of a sudden. I get mounds of compliments on it. Never-mind the fact that it’s vegan, and has no crappy additives…I don’t know what kind of voodoo this is but I don’t even care. Amazing product. Oh and it smells divine without leaving an overpowering scent after application.

Breaks me out
I’m very careful with my skin and I’m pretty sure this product breaks me out along my forehead. Maybe all gels do this but I will be looking for something else.Otherwise this gel works as advertised. I mostly use it for smoothing ponytails and I don’t like a hard or crunchy feel. This gel gives a relatively smooth look with a soft feel.

Go-to after wash curl product
I’ve been looking for a replacement for the Jele Gloss for my 2b/c hair I so miss and this is that replacement. Aside from a slight clovey/spicey smell at the very start of use, this product is pretty perfect.

It’s very light product… texture is somewhat non sticky jelly as the name suggests.it glided very easily on wet hair and starts providing defination to the curls.u probably need a light moisturizing leave in conditioner under Neath or hair will tend to become dry on day 2 n 3. Like the thing that it isn’t crunchy on drying.it gives light hold.good thing is it’s a cg friendly product.wish it provided good hold for day 3 or more.overall nice light non crunchy defining product

Curls are defined and very soft when you are done. Works great with the plopping t shirt method. I do add a little curl defining cream with this gel as your hair turns so soft & if you add oil it is even softer. You do not expect GEL to do this. Gel is usually sticky in the hair
