UPDATE: Still loving this half wig! It has held up quite well. Easy to manage and detangle. Wash day is a hassle period no matter what I’m doing with my hair so…. As mentioned in the first review, it does shed a bit. I noticed if I take the time to finger detangle it from the “root” I get less shedding during use. I did get a weft sealer and made sure to coat every track from underneath and on the exterior side of each track/weft. It seems to help, but honestly, there is so much hair packed into each of these wefts (by design), that it does still shed, but I am hoping it will help the unit last longer. It hasn’t seemed to affect the curls and fullness though. So I am ok with it. I have purchased another exact one to be able to alternate between the two, depending on occassion. I do recommend this unit – you do need to either wash and style it when you get it or just style it to get the curls to pop. It will take a little “working with” to get the curls to settle properly but they do come to life – full and volumous whick I love. When you first get it, it’s not going to look like that. Put in the effort and it will pop. And the ends do curl up like natural curly hair does. OK, that’s my two cents.Sometimes, I don’t understand why the sellers group together the reviews on their products or sell them in one listing. The Kinky Curly Half Wig is everything! (22″) The overall review number doesn’t reflect how good this half-wig is. It’s good quality and matches my 4b/c hair texture very well. It’s slightly darker than my 1B hair but doesn’t have the dominant reddish tone that a lot of the lower-quality hair has. It does shed (as all hair does), but not too much. Over time, yes, it will start to add up. I will add a weft sealer and update my review if it helps. The curls are like “stretched” type 4 hair, which I was looking for. It also fills out over time and gets much fuller/longer than what it looks like when you initially receive it. Give it time, and use your favorite curl creams and gels. The price of the unit is reasonable for its quality. It’s great as a protective style when growing your hair out. Especially for those of us who don’t like full or lace front wigs. *got to have my own edges out. Also, it didn’t look true to length when I first saw it. It’s hard to explain but it seems to be cut the way your hair would naturally grow out of your head – like a natural layered, if that makes sense. It works great for me; I didn’t need to do any extra cutting/styling. You might need to cut some of the very ends to freshen the curls to your liking. But it’s totally up to you. I love it. Please keep this half wig and its quality the same. And I will purchase it again.

Biggest regret
For this to be $200 it’s definitely worse quality than a $80 at the beauty supply. The density is completely wrong. This wig is so thin and stiff. I hate it. The color is nice and that’s the only thing I like about it. Whoever cut the lace, it’s cut terribly. I wish I would’ve gone to the beauty supply and found something better for a lower price. This was a waste of money. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!!!

Best half wig ever! I wore this wig with braids in the front and half up-half down. It’s looked so natural. I love my wig!

Really Nice Unit, Easy install
I bought this wig after purchasing from another seller on here and receiving a used Lacefront. So I was a little worried that this would be the same disappointment. However I was wrong and glad that I was. I had my sister install this unit even though it’s clueless, I just feel secure when my units are glued down. The wig itself is a bit big even if you have a big head. I don’t have a big head so it was extra space in the back so I had to rig it a bit. However, I love this unit. No shedding, no smell. Easy to apply, can be worn without glue as well. I ordered a 22” and I’d say it was accurate. I haven’t put much product on it yet because as soon as I got it out the box, all I had to do was finger fluff it. I did wet it just to see how it dries and it was beautiful. I would definitely buy again if I was guaranteed the same exact unit. Amazon is hit or miss when it comes to buying the same item again. And I don’t believe it’s the seller’s fault, I am convinced the workers in the Amazon warehouse that pack our orders are switching some of the Lacefronts out because seriously what reputable company is sending out used units??? Come on now. But anyways, I would suggest buying.
